As I boarded this 1987 48’ Viking Sport Fish I noticed her to be in good condition but in need of a little TLC. In the galley she is missing a refrigerator and the stove needs to be replaced. The wood and carpet is in good condition. All lights worked and there are no tears that are visible. There is plenty of fishing space and storage on the stern and the deck is in good condition.

This 48’ Viking Sport Fish is well maintained and is one of only a handful of Vikings on the market with 3 staterooms and 2 heads making her design very desirable.
She has great stability with her 16 ft beam and the newly installed outriggers will entice the finickiest fishermen.  She comes with full fishing gear, swivel rod holders, live bait well, freezer, updated electronics (6000i North Star GPS &Fish Finder and BOSE stereo system).

She is powered by Mack V-8 925 hp engines. The starboard engine has 3000 hours and the port engine has 1300 hours. The generator is a 15 KW phassor and she is equipped with three (3) a/c units, 10 gallon hot water heater, windless anchor with 25 ft of chain, 400 ft of line, two galley maid heads, 50 amp electric service, dripless shafts, (3) 8D batteries and a washer & dryer. She cruises at 30 knots at 200 rpms and reaches 40 knots at 2200 + rpms. When we fired up the engines no smoke emitted.

The cockpit enclosure, all cushions and exterior light are recommended to be replaced. In the ideal situation a buyer should expect to invest $15,000 to bring her back to a solid good condition rating.
